Governor Printz Boulevard Corridor Study Visioning Workshop

You are invited to the Governor Printz Boulevard Corridor Study Visioning Workshop on Wednesday, January 29. The Workshop will be held at the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company (1006 Brandywine Blvd, Wilmington, DE 19809), with open house displays from 5-6 p.m., and a presentation with group discussion from 6-7:30 p.m. Your feedback will be critical to learn local preferences, needs, and concerns.

The Study will develop recommendations for Governor Printz Boulevard from the City of Wilmington border to Philadelphia Pike, and Philadelphia Pike through Claymont. The purpose of this Corridor Study is to improve mobility, safety, and travel choices while supporting sustainable economic development and enhanced neighborhood vitality. The Study will identify and assess the feasibility of multimodal transportation projects that will accommodate current and future transportation and land use needs, including roadway, transit, walking, and bicycle travel.

This Corridor Study will be conducted by WILMAPCO in partnership with New Castle County Land Use, DelDOT, DART First State, and Delaware Greenways. We encourage you to spread the word to others in your community. A flyer for the workshop is attached, or you may visit the project web site to learn more at www.wilmapco.org/governorprintz. In addition, a facebook event page is set up at www.facebook.com/events/295899131332221/.
