We are notifying our member Civic Associations about a notice we received concerning a new SCAM being sent to a Civic Association.
The scammer set up an email account in the President’s name, and emailed the treasurer about needing to pay an overdue maintenance bill immediately.
They got all of the information necessary for this attempted scam based on our website and information from there based on the email address they used.
