CCOBH is pleased to congratulate Marion C. Stewart, who will receive the Public Service Achievement Award from Common Cause Delaware, tonight November 15th, 2012.
She has been a tireless advocate for the public interest and the promotion of open and accountable government in New Castle County as well as state government for more than 50 years.
Her extensive involvement with CCOBH, Civic League for New Castle County and numerous other good government, land use and transparency groups was key in raising these issues and bringing about positive change. Her long-time involvement in the AAUW (American Association of University Women) included terms as chairperson of the federal and state policy committee, as well as State Legislative Chairman.
CCOBH celebrates and applauds her many years of public service. Thank you Marion!
